Fabric and construction
400gsm to 550gsm cotton terry on bath and beach, brushed microfibre on travel towels, and 280gsm polyester fleece on blankets. Pre-shrunk where applicable, side-seamed on knit pieces, with finished seams and reinforced stress points.

Machine wash cold (30°C), inside out, with similar colours. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low or line dry in the shade to prevent shrinkage and fade. Iron inside out on warm. Wash darks separately on the first wash. Merino pieces: cold hand wash or wool cycle.

What towels and blankets do you stock?

Are the towels absorbent enough for the beach?
Yes. Beach towels run in cotton terry and waffle weave for good absorbency and reasonable drying time. Waffle weave dries faster, terry holds more water. For pool and beach use, terry is the classic choice.
Will the colours run in the first wash?
Wash new towels separately or with like colours on a cool cycle for the first two or three washes, since some colour can release. After that they wash with the rest of the household load. Avoid fabric softener, which reduces absorbency over time.
How heavy are the blankets and how should I wash them?
Most throws and blankets sit mid weight, suitable for couch and bed use through cooler months. Cool machine wash on gentle, then line dry flat. For wool blend blankets, use a wool cycle and skip the tumble dryer to keep shape and softness.
