About Blank Fashion
Australian-owned considered basics. Designed to wear, not to date.
Blank Fashion is an Australian apparel label built on a simple promise: well-cut, well-made everyday pieces in fabrics chosen for how they actually behave in Australian conditions, not how they look in a New York lookbook.
We design for people who'd rather own twelve pieces they love than fifty they tolerate.
Where we came from
Blank Fashion is the consumer label of a business that's been quietly working in Australian apparel since 2006.
That business, Blank Clothing, started as a wholesale operation supplying plain, well-built basics to designers, agencies, schools, and brands across the country. Two decades on, it's one of the most recognised plain-apparel suppliers in Australia, with on-the-ground warehouses, an Australia-based team, and direct relationships with the mills and manufacturers we work with.
Blank Fashion has been a property since 2013, originally a small direct-to-consumer offshoot. In 2026, we're relaunching it properly: as its own brand, with its own point of view, and its own design direction.
The connection to Blank Clothing matters because it's where our credibility comes from:
- Real warehouses in Australia, not a drop-ship address
- An Australian team that's been doing this for twenty years
- Direct supplier relationships, not middlemen
- A library of fabric and fit data most fashion brands would kill for
But Blank Fashion isn't wholesale, and it isn't bulk uniforms. It's a fashion label. It stands on its own.
Who's behind it?
Blank Fashion was founded by Tim, who has run the parent operation since its early days. The relaunch is led from Melbourne with a small, deliberately tight team: designers, fit technicians, and a handful of people who care more about how a seam sits than how a campaign performs.
What we believe
Fabric first. We've spent twenty years watching what holds up in Australian heat, humidity, and washing machines, and what doesn't. That data shapes every piece we make.
Fit that respects Australian bodies. Most fashion sizing is built around bodies that aren't ours. We use our own returns and exchange data to build patterns that actually fit Australians, not an averaged-out Northern Hemisphere template.
Longevity over novelty. We design pieces meant to be worn thirty, fifty, or a hundred times. If a garment can't survive being someone's favourite, it shouldn't exist.
Australian-owned, Australian-operated. Founded here, run from here, accountable here.
What's next
The relaunch rolls out through 2026: new collections, our first Australian Fabric Report, and a journal where we share what twenty years of Australian apparel data is actually telling us.
